Fifth Advance Workshop on Digital Assets for Cybercrime Professionals

The Fifth Advanced Workshop on Digital Assets, held in Belgrade on May 31, 2024, brought together a specialized audience of public prosecutors from the cybercrime department and police officers tasked with combating cybercrime. This workshop aimed to enhance the participants' understanding and skills in dealing with digital assets, an increasingly critical area in modern law enforcement and judicial proceedings.

The agenda included in-depth sessions on the latest trends in digital asset crime, techniques for investigating and prosecuting such cases, and the legal frameworks governing digital currencies and blockchain technology. Experts in the field shared their knowledge on tracking illicit activities involving cryptocurrencies, securing digital evidence, and navigating the complexities of international cooperation in cyber crime cases.

Interactive case studies and practical exercises were integral parts of the workshop, providing attendees with hands-on experience in handling real-world scenarios. The event also served as a platform for networking, allowing participants to exchange insights and best practices, fostering stronger collaboration between law enforcement and public prosecutors.
